Re: My viewing card keep's dropping in and out.Would like an online chat if possible ?

The first part is you are asked to sign in, doing that does not give you the message. The second part is try another channel and it will work. Again that is incorrect as it works for 10 - 15 mins then fails.They need to not include that bit. The third part again is that there global system is showing no outage when obviously there is. I also do not believe that this is only a small amount of customers.

It seems fairly isolated given the amount of posts here.  But we'll probably never know...

Mine never missed a beat.

so far havent had the blue screen and check your viewing card since between 2-3pm. HOWEVER all the programs that require you to input your pin are not scheduled are all under 12 certificate (so no game of thrones, walkign dead, no movie of 12 or older) what the hell is all that about???

The more i think about it the more i am thinking that this country becoming a DICTATORSHIP than anything else....

That would be the Broadcasting Code, which says that post-watershed content must be behind a Mandatory Daytime Protection PIN when transmitted during the day.

So Sky Atlantic should be broadcasting Game of Thrones without any access control during school hours?  Such a treat for the under 5s...

Thats just ity, it is BEHIND a pin number that i have to input, but everything is not what is ment to be showing its literally been changed.

The movie channels for instance are all showing the same films at 1 point it was the same cartoon film (hotel transylvania) on 5 of the 11 film channels, 3 of which still reuired you to input your pin number to view the channel as it had a differant film listed.

Even now there all to **bleep**.

THAT is NOT what we PAY for and there has been 0 information given out why they did this, just some sort of speculation. If parents freely gavce out the pin code to their offspring so they could watch whatever they wanted to, then i am afraid thats on them, not the rest of the country.

@Manestream

It appears that post-watershed material was temporarily replaced with content rated below a 12 certificate because the PIN system couldn't be relied on.  The penalties exacted by Ofcom for broadcasting illegally are severe.

@Manestream  broadcasters aren't going to breach the legislation and suffer the potential consequences of losing their licence whether we like it or not they are legally obliged to in force it

I kept getting a blue screen this morning from 9am to 10am, phoned sky and he's ringing me back tomorrow to see if the problem is still present but I haven't experienced it since . He wasn't aware of any problems at their end .

Programmes not as advertised

Anyone know why some programmes that are advertised are not playing and it's something completely different?

Hi @Princess+Lou   Yes, the viewing card issue means Sky cannot guarantee pin protection, so those programmes cannot be shown before 9pm.
