My sky mini box will not switch on and I need to keep switching of the power to get to work

Sky mini box is stuck on orange will not switch on, I need to keep turning it off at the socket. This can't be right every time I  try and switch it on? Also when it comes in after restarting it keeps losing connection with the sky Q box only recently had this fitted need help

Hi @Kevin+B1967 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the mini box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

tried the button on the mini box that does not work switch it off a the socket then it goes through the setup and comes on, but this happens every time i try to switch on the sky mini box, tried to leave the box on (green) and just turn the tv off, when i turn the tv on the picture is frozen and will not change chanel. I have 2 mini boxes one is new out the box last week when sky was fitted, and that does the same, think the sky Qbox is US and needs replacing wait for Sky to confirm delievery
