My sky aerial with the metal pin wont connect to my new sky q box,

The lead that comes from my dish into my house where my telly is, I think its for the sky aerial , it has a pin in it and you connect it to your sky box. Mine won't connect, it says to turn it clockwise, it's doing nothing at all. Can anyone help me, what am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by new Sky box?  Sky usually fit them...

Does the connector look like F-plug & on the lead top right in this ?

Do you have 2 cables (usually joined together) ?  as SKY Q needs 2 from a dish

You mention new SKY Q box - is this one sent to you by SKY as a replacement or something else ?

You realise you only turn the collar clockwise? They can be tricky as they have very narrow threading.

Not sure what you mean by "sky aerial". It's (they are) from the dish to the box.
