I spoke to one of your members of staff yesterday about my sky box, which keeps turning itself off. I did a software update and was told to contact you back if it hadn't worked. The problem is still the same, as soon as I turn on the sky box, the picture goes to a small, rectangular box bounces round the screen and then immediately turns off. This has been happening for the last two months, frequently we are totally unable to watch "sky. This is getting very frustrating as I understand many people are having the same issue.

I don't recall any similar posts. Once an 'update' hasn't changed anything, Sky would typically swap out the box.

I do. Quite a few from people who had EE routers. As I recall someone had some joy from turning off ipv6 on the router.

There were a number of post with the 'bouncing box' issue. I think most of them were sorted with software update though.

I still get the occasional "bouncing box" which is usually associated with the internet connection to the Q box dropping.

Yes that has been the advice - although I don't know how many people that has helped - I am sure it is some but not sure if all.

Nobody seems to have pointed out that you are not talking to Sky, this is a user forum
