Sky Q terms of supply

I have been told that if I agree to change to a Sky Q box the supply and fitting of this will be free of charge.#

Also that it will have a lifetime warranty so I never have to pay for any repair or replacement.

Sky will not confirm this in writing.

Does the above seem to be true from your xperience?

You do not own the Q box.

If it develops an issue Sky will replace it.  But it has to be returned when your subscription is cancelled.

SkyProtect provide an insurance product that should give quicker response times for replacements.

All Sky Q boxes are loaned to you so Sky will replace if your box develops a fault.

Charges for supply and fitting are agreed at time of purchase, some people pay and some negotiate charges waived.

@verbal+claimsNo charge for repairs etc as Sky own the box. Depending on which box you have there could be a free upgrade see this link www.sky.com/help/bbcupgrade however there could be other deals so talk to Sky.
