My mini box picture keeps flickering

My Sky Q mini box works fine except the picture (whatever screen it's on - tv or menu) goes black for about a second every minute or so - sometimes it does it more than others,

Is this a new problem?

most likely hdmi cable but try another input on the TV too. And another TV if feasible.
