My apps don’t work in sky q box

I've turned my box on after paying the bill, and the hd apps and all the apps like Netflix and YouTube aren't there anymore

You can check here, how to access the hidden menu. After that, you simply have to go to Apps and select refresh apps. After that, all apps should be visible.

That doesn't always work and it's just a matter of time for the box to sort itself out.

It works 99% of the time. It can take up to 4 hours for all apps to appear. He can try resetting settings, but after that will need to do the setup for the remote as well.
