My TV channels keep going black screen

My sky was working perfectly and then just yesterday when I turned on the TV any channel I went to would start up and then after 30 seconds or so the screen would go completely blank and this would be happening on a off all evening.  I have tried all of the supposed fixes but nothing is working. Even going to the sky technical support could no solve the problem.  Won't have a technician to call for nearly 3 weeks.  Any one else have the same problem.  Do I need a new Sky Q box?
