Re: My Sky Q satellite keeps going down
@Bobg The issue has to be your end. If the satellite were at fault, then every customer nationwide would be posting and the forum would probably crash.
It could well be that your dish or LNB is moving slightly and causing the no-signal issue if you are losing signal regularly then you need to get Sky out to look at the dish, to do that you will have to call just be aware it may be the new year before an installer can attend.

Re: My Sky Q satellite keeps going down
@Bobg
Check the troubleshooting in this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.
If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise directly with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.
It’s worth remembering that a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

Presumably you're seeing a no satellite signal, in which case the earlier advice applies to you too.
