Missing 2TB Sky Broadband Box & Channel Loading Issues

Dear Sky Customer Support,

 

I am writing to raise two issues with my Sky services:

 

  1. I have not received my 2TB Sky Broadband box, which was due to arrive with my order.
  2. Several channels are not loading properly when I try to access them, preventing me from watching content I’m paying for.

 

 

Could you please investigate these matters urgently and advise on when I can expect delivery of my missing broadband box, as well as provide a resolution for the channel loading issues?

 

I would appreciate your prompt assistance as these problems are affecting my service.

There is no such equipment. I think you mean a 2TB Sky Q box, not broadband.

As above, we won't be 'investigating' anything. 

What Sky equipment do you currently have?

If it's a Sky Q TV box then the engineer brings that with them when installing the dish etc.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Well presumably he already has some kind of sky (Q?) box as he can't get certain channels to work.

 

very mysterious. Maybe he meant a certain type of router?

My teenage son was tasked with navigating the jungle of sky customer services, somehow he was prompted to ask the community!

 

we have a 1tb Sky Q, we'd agreed to an upgrade to 2 TB via new contract, but the new box didn't arrive.

 

Then on top of that we can't watch all the channels due to box fault/signal fault.

 

I've now spoken to Sky and an engineer is booked.

Ah well he wrote a very polite well structured message, just the "broadband box" term confused people as broadband and TV are two very separate services and hardware.

 

And yes, people often get directed here by sky's support line and don't realise it's a peer to peer community.

 

Hopefully the engineer will resolve the reception issues, probably dish alignment. Might even have a 2TB box on the van.
