Mini boxes not working due to no broadband

Hi

 

After years of problems with Sky Broadband, I changed from Sky to Vodaphone when we were offered Fibre.

 

Now the Sky Q box keeps disconnecting from the network, and the Miniboxes do not work as the main Sky Q box is not working.

 

The main Sky Q is connected by Ethernet.

 

Any Ideas?

Hi @clariongrade 

First reset your broadband router.
On 3rd party broadband and your router does not have a reset button, reboot it by disconnecting the power lead for 30 secs and then reconnecting.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in main Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect wired to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router
Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the Q box to connect.

If it doesn't connect there is a issue with the Ethernet.

 

See if that gets your main Box working.
