Mini box lights up 5-10 seconds then goes off

I have tried resetting which now keeps the red light on but cannot get it to work

Hi @jamesk654 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the  minibox.
If this turns the mini box on
Try completly resetting your min9 Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
