Losing connection constantly on my q mini box

Hi,  I have just received my mini q box yesterday and have found this whole thing stressful.

I set it up following the instructions no problem.

The problem is that when watching a programme it keeps losing its connection to the main box.

I'm using the wireless feature which I also do for the xbox and the connection for that is really fast so I know it can't be that.  Before I cancel I would like to see if there is any way of fixing this.  Spent over 4 hrs turning everything off and on and even using a booster just incase.

Please can I get some help soon otherwise please can u cancel it for me as I'm in the cooling off period.

Many thanks and look forward to your response.

Dan

Re: Losing connection constantly on my q mini box

Wasn't getting any where on here for help.

It says when u start a discussion that u will get back to me within 90 mins of making post which wasn't the case so I waited around for nothing.

Ended up phoning through and had amazing service with one of the guys from technical.

It seemed my new mini q box was on an old version which just needed updating,  didn't sort the problem but certainly helped.

We've always had the sky box in our frontroom and not had issues but soon as the mini was linked it kept losing connection on the main box that sits right next to the hub.

I've now gone out and bought 2 ethernet cables, 1 to go to each box which I didn't want to do as it ment I had to rip up carpets and floorboards and now have cable crawling up my walls which I was told that it doesn't need to be wired up via ethernet cable upon enquiring about having it.

I've only just fitted it so not sure if the problem is sorted but so far it's not lost connection once in the last 30 mins so I'm hopeful.

Would have been nice to have had an offer for someone to have come out to see what the issue was rather than going through all this stress which really wasn't worth it for something I'll probably not use that much.

Sorry if I've come across rude as that is not my intention and I've normally got nice things to say about ur company as I've not had many issues and normally I've had help when I needed it.

Thanks for the reply,  as it stands u can close this case and if I have any more issues within the next 3 days then I'll probably just cancel but feeling hopeful now as it seems to be smooth.
