Looking to get Sky Q, but have a dish already
I'm interested in getting Sky Q, and I have an existing dish that I paid to upgrade the LNB to a hybrid LNB (2x wideband & 4x standard).
I'm currently using a Freesat 4k box connected to the 2 wideband sockets.
I have 2 LG TVs connected to 2 of the standard sockets.
Can this dish be left as it is during install and the existing cables (both connected to wideband sockets) going to the Freesat box be used for the Sky Q box ?
I'm not interested in Sky Stream or Sky Glass, as I wish to be able to record shows that I miss when out.

Yes @Daveo16
The two cables will be suitable for Sky Q

Technically yes, however, you should be aware that we believe the official SKY policy is not to connect to any dishes/LNBs not installed by SKY (although we think some engineers may be flexible on this)

Re: Looking to get Sky Q, but have a dish already
Thank you @oldfella
I've looked into cost, and it works out at £50/month for package with £20 setup fee.
Package is:
Sky Ultimate
Kids
Ultra HD & HD
Does the setup fee still apply even tho I'm keeping existing dish.

Re: Looking to get Sky Q, but have a dish already
OK. What's the best way to order, as I noticed the website has changed again and they don't make ordering Sky Q via the site easy (if logged in, can't order Sky Q) ?
We do have a Sky sales rep in a Shopping Centre near me. Can I order thru them (think I remember them saying that the setup fee would be free if ordered via them) ?

Re: Looking to get Sky Q, but have a dish already
The dish was originally installed by Sky when I had Sky+ years ago.
All I've had changed is the LNB from a Sky standard one (not Sky Q compatible) to a Hybrid LNB (allows Sky Q/Freesat 4k to work, along with my two LG TVs).
