Long delay on changing channel

When changing channel on the main box screen goes black, original channel audio still plays for several minutes before new channel loads.

This also happens when selecting apps for streaming.

Got partway through a chat but it closed down.

No, how would I do that and will it reset the box, losing recordings?

Hi @S+L   Simply put into Standby, then unplug it from the mains electricity, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in again. All it does is reboot the box (cures many glitches) and, it does not reset anything or has any impact on your recordings. However, if the box is faulty, it might highlight a real problem with the box, like not turn on again (possible, but unlikely).

Have tried that several times - it improves things a bit for a short while but then goes back to the big delay. We can switch to the digital TV and have no problems so suspect it is box related.
