Lnb cable connections

Hi. I have had the builders in recently and the needed to remove and replace the dish, it all works ok but the cable is a mess. Can I replace it myself, does it screw directly onto the LNB  as I can't see if they are screwed  on, I have a new cable with screw fittings..if sky have to do it is it charge and how much  I am even thinking of replacing the dish at some point as it's looking tatty   how much  for that thanks

Hi @Ukmartian

Most installations carried out by Sky will be by crimped F connectors and not Screw-in.

If you are capable there is no reason why you cannot carry this out or contact Sky.

Normal cost of chargeable Engineer visit is in the region of £65.

Whether or not you will get the dish replaced or not ; you would need to ask the Engineer.

Tea and biscuits might help.
