I have been trying to get the Lionsgate+ 3 month trial set up for a couple of weeks now. I confirm that I want the 3 month trial and it takes me to a screen where it wants me to enter credit card details. This is the Sky Marketplace, and it says that my card will be used for all future purchases from Sky Marketplace.
I enter card details, name etc. and it comes up with a screen says something went wrong, we're working on it with error code mysky_2408.
I called sky customer service, spent an hour on the phone with a representative, and they got nowhere. Eventually she said that it must be because lots of people are signing up and to try again in a few days. That was on Saturday 5th August, so here it is a week later and I tried it again.
Same error.
I have tried 3 different credit/debit cards, Visa and MC and all 3 give the same error.
There is nowhere in my Sky Account that I can add a credit card to Sky Marketplace. The Sky customer service rep said she couldn't add a card. So it seems that there's no way for me to get Lionsgate+ through Sky.
Anyone from Sky care to figure out why I can't setup Lionsgate+?

There has been a previous thread on this. I have had the same issue. I reported it 10 days ago and haven't had a solution yet.
They were unaware of the issue (?) at the time I reported it despite an acknowledgment on the previous thread by someone from sky.
I'm no further forward despite the apps team "looking in to it".

Yes, saw the previous thread before talking to them on the 5th as nothing suggested there worked for me. We shall see where this goes. Wouldn't surprise me if my credit cards are challenging the payment, and sky's Sky Q boxes can't handle it.

retried this morning and no MYSKY_2408 error. If anyone is still having issues and hasn't given up retry now
