I have never paid for disney+. My son who stays with us just now does and pays the £14.99 premium disney+ without adverts.. On being given free disney+ by sky as part of its package it recognises and I register my email but on clicking same it then takes me to a seperate screen where is asks to link my sins email account to save him £5.99 a month.
The screen gives me 2 options, link them or do it later. When I do that it gives me access to my sins disney profile ?
I am loathe to hit do it later in case it mucks up his subscription and my free sky one when he leaves again in a few months.
Got thru to a foreign customer service advisor last night who was very impatient as I tried to explain my issue and who kept telling me I was not registered ? He then cut me off for no reason.
Any advice re the linked account issue and what to do would be helpful. Thanks.

Thanks Dave. Some of what you are telling me rings true with me from memory, especially him using the QR code to sign in on our TV and no doubt ultimately thru Sky. I think he might have done same with his Netflix in the past albeit I cannot access that now as I'm assuming he has signed out of that account on my Sky for now.
I'll check with him tomorrow when he is day off and see if we can work something out.
Appreciated mate. I'll post an update one way or another in next day or 2 if you wanna see the update. 👍🏻

Re: Linked accounts disney+
Did you son use the Disney plus app on you Sky box to watch his Disney account. If so when he logon to it he may inadvertently linked your Sky Id to his account, this can be easily done as when the box had loged out of your Disney plus account he would have been presented with screen with QR code and link to link the box to his account. If he used this method to log in to his account it would have automatically liked his account to Sky. Therefore you need to get his account unliked with your id. There is note on this forum about this but I am not sure where they are may be another member could let us know where to access them. Other than that get back on the phone to Sky and tell them you want unlink this to you id and see if they can do it there end.

Re: Linked accounts disney+
I'm in the same boat haveing accidently linked my daugher's account (that was logged in our our box) and now she can't watch it as she's not in the "same hosehold" !
This page https://www.sky.com/help/sky-tv/sky-tv-q/using-sky-q/q-tv-apps-test/articles/sky-marketplace-cancel-... implies there's no way to canel the £0 "subscription" !
The message she got implied her sub would restart if it was canceled on the sky end, but there's no way to cancel when it's £0
I think the only way will be to upgrade to £4 a month, then canel it.

hi @SimonC22
Upgrading will not help as you only downgrade rather than cancel
I think you/your daughter need to change the email used for Disney over to another one (i.e. yours & thus freeing up your daughter's)

If you daughters account is still active on your Sky marketplacefor the apps you activated on you Sky box it can be viewed on any device that as that app whether she in your household hold or not. I am not sure if you can just login an exsisting account on the app on your daughter Sky box without linking it to Sky. If you can she watch it on there as well. I have Disney , hbo max and Netflix all activated though sky but I can watch them on my iphone iPad an firstick any where.
