Just been told that Sky Q Lite doesn't exist. Is this a scam by the call centre?

That URL relates to what you were doing, and won't load for others.
'QLite' is probably an internal Sky product name: one possibility is that it's the old 'Signature' subscription (i.e. no bundled Netflix)

Hi @Dav7878
On a digging around it would seem (I think) that Sky Q Lite arose last year before Sky Q Essentials, the difference beings that they are both effectively just Freesat but using the Sky Q equipment. When first arriving the Lite version also included Sky Broadband, e.g. if you wanted just Freesat using Sky equipmant you had to take their Broadband. Things then changed and now they have Sky Q Essentialls but this does not insist on also having Sky Broadband, e.g. you can use any ISP.
Not that surprising that the 'help' desk did not know what Lite was since many of them often seem quite limited on their background Sky knowledge.

Strangely I got a Sky questionnaire this week wanting to know my reason for leaving (I ended up re-subbing as it happens unless me leaving the mobile service triggered it) and it kept going on about Sky Q Lite which I'd never even heard of before.
