Issue with Sky Q
Engineer came on Wednesday as Sky Q would not connect to my broadband suddenly. He's now put a cable coming out of the Sky box into my router. Now the internet keeps dropping out every couple of minutes, neither of the mini boxes will connect to the Sky box at all now. If we want the internet to work we have to unplug the new Sky cable.
I would like another engineer to come and sort this problem out. I waited 8 days for a visit and am no better off.
I pay a lot of money monthly to Sky and are going into the third week of not being able to watch it properly

If you have any thing other than some older Sky routers, It only the main box that connects to the router. Your mini box's connect directly the main box and should connect even though the main box has not connected to the internet. Therefore though you will have no internet on any of your boxes and will not be able to use things like the apps . You should still have satellite signal going to your main box as that come from the dish on the outside of your property and therefore you should have programming on your normal Sky channel both on the main box and your mini boxes. If you mini box's are not connecting to to the main box this would be a separate problem than no internet connection, If you need a engineer you need to phone Sky gain as we are all fellow users on here and can not send any engineer.
