Internet

I've just my replacement sky q box setup but I can't connect to the internet,I've plugged the internet cable into the router and the other end into the ethernet port but nothings happened

Hi @Sarah672 

Are you saying that your Q box is connected to your router by an Ethernet cable.

If so and it is a replacement box then first carry out a Network reset with the Ethernet connected.
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Select connect wired to non Sky Router (or Sky router if on Sky Broadband). Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the box to connect. It may take a couple of minutes. If it does not connect there is an issue with the Ethernet connection.

An Ethernet connection between Q box and router should be Bulletproof @Sarah672 

Exactly how did it not work?
