Internet Connection on Sky Q and EE Smart Hub Plus

We have a new EE Smart Hub Plus router and every time we turn the Sky Q on it never connects to the router. This is the only device in the house which does'nt connect to the router. Any ideas folks. Our router has just been upgraded and the Sky Q connected ok with our previous router from BT.

Looking around there does seem to a suggestion that connecting to 2.4GHz might help
