Re: ITV HD

Yes !  Mine started a few days ago.  It's all HD channels.  I suspect this is a plot by Sky to get us to upgrade to something more expensive.  It's all very suspicious.  Of course you can't get any help from them

Yes, it's all down to Sky who simply have no control overe the satellites or ITV transmissions to get you to choose something more expensive (not that there is anything else to upgrade to).

Tin Foil hats will be on sale soon!

It won't be anything at all to do with your setup which may bea  slightly misaligned dish causing this issue right?   And of course I'm guessing you've not even called Sky to report these issues as they will only try and get you to upgrade to a nin existent system????

I suppose it's much easier to spout such ridiculous rubbish than to report the issue.

Re: ITV HD

Oooo  Did I touch a nerve?  Yes I have called them and they told me to either upgrade or call a local satellite man.  It seems rather strange that after subscribing for over 20 years, suddenly HD doesn't work.  The fact someone else has it at the same time, makes it suspicious.

Obviously, GDI,  you have the power to delete replies you don't like, because mine was deleted.  That leaves you to insult me without me being able to respond.  I guess that's modern democracy.  Yes, I did call Sky who were uphelpful and wanted me to upgrade to Sky Q.  I'm still suspicious as to why HD suddenly disappeared for more than one person.

@Jeremyduplessis your reply to @GD1 may have been caught up in the overactive spam filter and once reviewed will be returned to the thread this does happen occassionally

@Jeremyduplessis  No one has deleted any posts as per @Laing1

You posted in the Sky Q forum and as you've now advised you have Sky+HD, this is a legacy system that is no longer supported by Sky,

You assumed very wrongly that Sky has the means to interfere with HD signals from other broadcasters, they don't,if there were concerted efforts by Sky to mess with another broadcasters HD signals you'd think the forum would be flooded with similar posts? It is not.

In addition I'm fairly sure the regulators would take a very dim view of this perceived interference, as I said, it's a ridiculous notion to think Sky can mess with other broadcasters signals.

Feel free to prove me wrong here?

Also as previously advised it's more likely to be a dish alignment issue which you can get corrected by employing the services of a CAI aerial specialist who can realign your dish and surprisngly cure the issue you have.
