I inherited my dad's 55 inch Sky Glass TV about a year ago.
I then attached it to my Sky Q box via an HDMI cable.
However, my Sky Q box has been switching itself from amber standby to green for on and usually during the early hours of the morning.
When this happens it can randomly, on any given day, switch on the Sky Glass TV.
At about 00:20 this morning I had a random children's channel belting out nursery rhymes at a high volume because my Sky Q box had switched on my Sky Glass TV.
I had read this may be happening due to the standby settings.
I tried to solve the problem previously by setting the standby mode as active in the Sky Q box settings.
This solution was suggested in another Sky forum thread.
Active standby mode hasn't worked though.
So I called Sky technical service who suggested I choose the None standby mode.
I'm hoping this stops the Sky Q box switching my Sky Glass TV on but I'm far from convinced.
Has anyone else had this issue and have they managed to resolve it?
