I paid for multi room boxes

Please can you advise why need to return multi room boxes when I paid for them? You provided one. And the additional 2 paid for a few years ago. They cost me £50 per box...

hi @Zoe+shayla

Unfortunately you did not purchase them, you only paid an 'Admin fee'

They always remain the property of SKY and need to be returned when you cancel the subscription (it is detailed in the small print)

Re: I paid for multi room boxes

On the sky app it says i own these. And that was not how they was sold to me.
basically one stopped working and I threw it away. I have two out of the 3 to return. I could told at the time as I asked for two more, I can not have 2 more if I purchased them. No mention of that being a admin fee. Also when I return the main box. They won't work anyway. However as I told they were mine. To say I been a customer for over 15 years, this makes me glad I leaving.

Hi @Zoe+shayla

Please see page 5 of the terms and conditions you agreed to (important information about your contracts).

Ownership of equipment and the viewing card
• Sky Q boxes are loaned equipment supplied to you at no cost and remain the property of Sky (or another
Sky group company) at all times.
• You must not dispose of loaned equipment and we recommend you insure it against loss, theft or damage
for the full replacement value.

@Zoe+shayla   It would be useful if you could post an image of this as it shouldn't show this for sky Q equipment

if you do post an image please ensure you blank out personal information

The app says it's "yours" which is frankly just bad phrasing. It doesn't actually belong to you.

And you shouldn't "throw out" old or faulty electronics. They need recycling. And companies are legally obliged to do this for their products which is one reason Sky and Virgin only loan them out these days.

it says 'already yours' which i agree is a poor choice of words!  But it also has that against your subs and you definitely don't 'own' them!
