I phoned 2days ago as my sky q box has a software issue. Reset box over the phone and had new scart lead . Still not getting blue light on box and sometimes a continuous red light and I'm not recording. I definitely need a new sky q box

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI assume you just meant generic "lead to the TV" when you said "scart lead", as Sky Q has never used SCART (though both HDMI and SCART have 19 pins, cable fact fans)
You'll need to persevere, easiest on the phone, to get Sky to diagnose and likely replace the box.
