I need a new sky q box as mine has software problems

I phoned 2days ago as my sky q box has a software issue. Reset box over the phone and had new scart lead . Still not getting blue light on box and sometimes a continuous red light and I'm not recording. I definitely need a new sky q box

@Budgie59  Sky Q boxes don't have scart on them so not sure how your connecting to it.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I assume you just meant generic "lead to the TV" when you said "scart lead", as Sky Q has never used SCART (though both HDMI and SCART have 19 pins, cable fact fans)

 

You'll need to persevere, easiest on the phone, to get Sky to diagnose and likely replace the box.
