My mini box will not connect before 6am. Why is this and is there any solution?
If trying to switch it on before this, it sometimes gives a message of the screen saying something like -trying to connect, sometimes nothing. It will then suddenly come to life around 6am.

Problem now resolved. My last try was to change the standby settings on the mini Q box and it now switches straigh on , even before 6am. I now have standby settings set to None on both boxes.

This is likely due to the standby setting on your main Box putting it to sleep

Thanks. It was in Eco. Have now changed it but wil have to wait til tomorrow morning to see if it has worked.

I changed the Standby setting to Active but this did not solve it. I then changed it to None and it gave me a lot of blurb about using more electricity but I ignored that and left it as None.
I don't think it has worked. Yesterday morning it came on fairly quickly though not immediatey but it was 05:57 so probably near the 6am time. I tried again this morning at 05:49 and it eventually swithched on at 05:58 so I don't think it has resolved the problem.
I will try rebooting the main Q box and the mini Q box this afternoon just to see it that helps, then try agai ntomorrow morning (If I get up early enough).
Difficult problem to check out as it can only be tested once in 24hrs.
