Discussion topic: I am waiting for a replacement Sky Q box. Do i unplug and return ALL the leads from the old box?

I am waiting for a replacement Sky Q box. Do i unplug and return ALL the leads from the old box?

The instructions state to remove the viewing card and html and power lead. There are 4 leads in the back of the box, do I return all 4?

The official list  is to return the remote, HDMI Cable & power cable & if you have one the separate power supply.

 

In reality you can return the leads / remote that come with the new box if you prefer not to switch.

 

Note if you have the separate power supply I mentioned you must return that & double check if the new box has one  - we have seen reports of people not noticing this and letting the box go back with it still in the box when they need it 

 

You don't return any leads that connect to the dish/communal system or ethernet

 

Make sure you take out your viewing card from your old box as you will need that
