@Lizgage  What's happening when you try to turn it on?  Any messages? Any lights showing on the box?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I have started to get something similar also, every few months or so the box will fail to turn on; using the remote or the button on the box itself - it simply remains unresponsive.

The remote is fine as it turns the TV on & off etc. just no response at all from the Q box.

 

In order for me to get it to work, I've had to remove the power to the Q box for 30 seconds or so then plug it back in/restore the power. After that, no issues (for a few months)

Nothing happens light stays red I went on to speak to a human on the phone and went through all his suggestions and now have an engineer coming in 6 days time till then no sky

Hi @Lizgage 

Have you tried switching the Q box on by pressing the Standby button on the front right of the Q box (the Amber Led)?

If this brings the box on 

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
