Re: How to stop Sky Q recording suggested programs.

Again, the answer is 'just let it record all the things you don't actually watch, then delete them all.' If the series link sees every single related program as the same thing, that is the issue. It needs to be changed so that when it sees the words 'race' or 'qualifying' or 'press conference' etc. in the program title, it links all races, qualifying, press conferences individually. It really shouldn't be hard for Sky to program this.

If the answer is to 'mark in your diary to find each qualifying and race segment for the whole season and 'just' press the record button twice to record that single event.' I would argue this is the exact issue recording things automatically was brought in to fix. If that really is the answer, then it shows quite clearly there's a problem.

I'm not having a go at anyone here, I'm just stating that even AI would spot 'race' and 'qualifying' in the title of the show so it would know what the show includes. Surely it can't be that difficult to patch an update so that the title is now considered when setting up series link? After all, 'Driver Press Conference' is very different to 'Race' and are separate 'shows', but seen as one.

hi @Fil

Unfortunately Series link doesn't have the ability to pick & choose.

Different people have different wishes when it comes to F1 - some people want to watch all sessions, whilst some just want Qualifying and Races & I guess some people just the races - that is before you add in Sprint weekends & those weekends with Ted's notebooks

I have often felt that it would be better to have multiple series links for F1 but if this was done then customers would need to choose which ones and likely to get it wrong

The naffest inclusion IMO the inclusion of  the highlights  afterwards which seems totally pointless for those who will have already recorded the race
