I am paying £100
£62.50 for skyQ and skyQ Silver
£37.50 for broadband unlimited and line rental
No movies, no Netflix and no sports channels.
its excessive.
I've tried "downgrading" but the contact us button doesn't work when I try to down grade.
surely there must be better package but how do I access it?
I can't find what I've got in the current list so o don't know how to compare.
is there a number I can call? I cannot find one anywhere on their website or app. And my broadband is so rubbish the app times out before I can finish doing anything. Help!!

If you've got Sky Q and want to change to Sky Stream then you'll need to call Sky. However I note you say your broadband is rubbish which suggests Sky Stream / Glass is not suitable for you.
You are probably best posting in the Sky Q board

Thanks

If you have the "My Sky" app and VIP go into VIP there is a phone number.

@bob1234 @Thank you that's very helpful. Yes it's definitely an old package. I do have the app so I'll have a look. Many thanks

@bob1234 I went into VIP and still cannot see a phone number

@Tim+Adams thank you.
im happy to upgrade my broadband as it would probably actually be cheaper looking at the speeds on offer compared to what I have. If I could just find some way of speaking to someone. It's so frustrating.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Say 'technical' when prompted, stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Yay @Doc5907
I could kiss you. Finally a phone number. Thank you thank you. I imagine it will be closed now but at least I have a number to call now. Thank you so much x

Your welcome @Nikikii 🙂
As mentioned, your price of £62 p/m without sports/movies etc is really far too much and you should be looking to around half that !
good luck with the negotiation 😉

Thank you. That's what I'm hoping for. Fingers crossed.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThey've offered me a much better price than that in exchange for another 18 month lockin without me even asking (I just wanted to cancel the F1 when I called) so I'm sure they will.
You might not be able to get better broadband even if they sell it. All dependent on your location / how your house is wired to the network.
This is a useful BT site to check
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
there are ultra high speed fibre suppliers who don't use BT's network (like Virgin, Swish, box broadband, hyperoptic etc) and if they are in your area they normally put flyers through the door
Then there are the starlink or 5G options.
None of these will be cheaper than £37 but I was paying BT £59 for landline plus 32Mb and now pay Box the same price for 1000Mb.

yes there is a better deal, you need to phone them up ive noticed online its wrong for eg: it says bt sport £28 18-month contract but its actually for 31 day rolling and its £25 on 18-month otherwise you get stuck in a contract paying more.
i have the below for £124
- sky signature
- netflix uhd
- sky sports & hd
- bt sport & hd
- hd & ultra hd content
- multiscreen 4x boxes
- sky cinema
- sky broadband & talk

Crikey you have a lot for just a little bit more than I pay.
Nothing makes much sense. It also says in the legal but that the cheapest internet is £25 but when I try to add it it says £30.
I will try and speak to someone later and see if I can get it sorted.
thank you

if you've been with them for a long time it gets cheaper im only silver vip but ive found phoning them is the best and it also depends who you get luckily the woman i got added tons of discount and she was really helpful but then others arne't interested if you get one of them hang up and ring back.
i've found also if you phone up every 12 months re-new your contract and get it cheaper and lay it on i'm a vip and spend 100s a month t u etc and they will add discount XD ive picked it up from my mates mum shes been with them 20 years and knows what t say
