Hi @arcadeavenger I’m having the same issue after linking HBO Max to the wrong account. I contacted Sky and the agent cancelled the subscription. The entitlement has now been removed from the HBO account, so that side is resolved.
However, in My Sky I can still see “HBO Max Basic with Ads” listed, but there is no option to activate or re-link an account. It looks like the entitlement is present on my Sky account but the activation link/token hasn’t been generated.
Could this be re-provisioned or the activation link reissued?

Hi,
I had the same issue, I've managed to to link my parents subscription and mine to the same account. HBO have said it's sky that has to unlink the subscription from the account.

Hi, same issue here, can you escalate please?
Have 2 account s - one with HBO basic with ads, the other has TNT access.
There must be a way to link the accounts. Have contacted Sky and HBO and neither seem to have a solution now activation on Sky has happened.

And each seems to be saying it's the other ones problem to sort, getting nowhere at the moment even though my issue has been escalated.

Last response I had from Sky was to sign out of all devices and try to change the e-mail address on the Sky HBO account to the other account. I tried this and it said we have sent an email to you with further instructions, but sadly im not recieving those e-mails. I suspect due to the system seeing an active a/c in that email address so not allowing the amendment to be made.

It’s quite frustrating as this should be a straightforward scenario and not an edge case.
I recently switched from Sky Q to Stream, which reset all of my entitlements, and I had to activate and link each of my streaming services again — so I know they can do it. This feels like a simple re-provisioning/reset issue, yet each time you speak to Sky you get a different answer. I’m either directed to the provider (who then refer me back to Sky), or you are asked to try various workarounds that never resolve the issue.
It gives the impression that these scenarios aren’t well understood or supported, and that resolution depends on eventually reaching someone familiar with the underlying process.
Has anyone here had this successfully reset or re-provisioned?
My case was escalated 24 hours ago, but I haven’t yet received a follow-up chat.

It has been 24hrs since my request was escalated and I have not received a chat request. There is no multi-coloured bubble in the left hand corner and my emails have gone unanswered. How do I get this issue resolved?
