How do you go about obtaining a sky q mini for elderly people?

How do you go about obtaining a sky Q mini box without the monthly subscription fee being increased? This query is for two elderly people,  one is 90 yrs old another who is 84 yrs old with dementia. They already have sky signature account, which their daughter pays for them.

@Dina76

Not sure what you mean by without the monthly subscription fee being increased?  A mini box requires a Multiscreen subscription which costs all customers.

Question, do you have to pay a separate fee for usage each month for sky q mini .i.e £10 per month?

hi @Dina76

To use a mini box, you need a monthly subscription called Multiscreen )which is uaully subject to a mininum term)

This monthly subscription covers all mini boxes  - some people may have more than one ( there are, however, phyisical limitations as to how many can be used at the same time which may be 1 or 2 depending on the main box)

The list price for Multiscreen is currently £15 (I think) but sometimes may be subject to discounts

There is an upfront admin fee for mini boxes - although often this is waived for the 1st mini

P.S. When the multiscreen subscription is cancelled, all mini boxes must be returned (& there is no refund of any admin fees)

Yes, that's correct.  A discount would require 18 months commitment and won't coterminate with an existing deal...  You would expect to pay around £10pm depending on the deal negotiated.
