How do you get to speak with a human
We have no satellite signal , went through steps and online said they sending out a new box , how do they know we need a new box , called helpline and they said (computer) engineer booked but we haven't then they just hung up

I've moved your post from the broadband board as it's not a broadband issue. Presumably you have Sky Q (as Sky+ boxes are no longer supported or provided).
If your unsure if an engineer has been booked or Sky are sending a replacement box via a doorstep box sway through a courier service you need to contact Sky again.
Calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

First thing check that there are no trees in the line of your satellite dish, as if there are these as the tree get all it's leaves will block your signal to your dish, do you have any scaffolding around or near your house that, can also block the signal, finally to speak to someone at sky, Follow this, call sky, and when the automated message says we have sent you a link would you like to use it, say no and you will get to talk to an advisor hopefully you will get the problem sorted
