How do other Sky Customers feel about paying for Sky TV, when you get no signal?

So, we've had bad weather, and with bad weather comes a lack of Sky TV. It's getting ready frustrating paying every month for a service that isn't delivered. Any suggestions, other than leaving Sky TV? (Thankfully we replaced Sky Full Fibre, so we do have streaming services)

hi @Munki

You should not loose signal unless the weather is extreme - Thuderstorm or equivalent type clouds or snow

If you are loosing signal with only moderate weather then you need to get SKY to visit to check the signal & re-align if necessary

@Munki makes no difference to me as I can always fire up Sky on the PS4 and watch it that way or even Sky Go on  the laptop connected to tv or watch sky subscription via mobile phone or even tablet.

Yes when you get no signal it is an inconvenience but Sky won't know about your issue unless you bring it to their attention as @nigea99 suggested

Hopefully you will get it sorted soon

Can't remember the last time weather caused this. Do you have other obstructions or live in northern scotland?

I only lose signal if it's absolutely hammering it down - pretty rare.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I had no signal for two months and I still paid. There was external insulation being put on the whole house and when they were sanding down areas behind the dish they turned my dish a little bit. There was no point in having the dish realigned until they were done. I hated paying

Should of got it sorted sooner seeing as it was due to workman error not bad weather @steve30x

As I said it would have been pointless because I would have had multiple engineer calls. The workers moved the dish at least three different times maybe more to work on the external insulation behind it. They plastered the wall three times then added a layer of silicone on top.
