How do I get a message to an engineer due to visit?

We have an engineer doe to visit us on Friday to carry out works that were identified by a visit last week. We were given two options to remeday our issue, but remedy one has been arranged but we need remedy two! (1. Shift the sat dish to the opposite side of the property; 2. Raise it above where it currently sits.

We want option 2, but they're planning option 1, and it's a job that can't be amended on the day (apparently!)?

Anyone know how to contact Sky - they are the Scarlett Pimpernel to press and Chat by useless!!

TIA

Talk to them on the phone.  You have to get through the awful voice recognition system, but if you mumble enough, the bot will give up and pass you over to a human.

Human Sky representatives are by and large 100% more useful than the bots.

Assuming this is to resolve a No Satellite Signal issue, maybe caused by trees?

I would just let the engineer decide where best to resite the dish to get you the best signal.

Re: How do I get a message to an engineer due to visit?

Thank you - the second of the two options is more attractive: it keeps the dish out of sight. I'm hoping the engineer will come ready-armed (longer ladders) so we'll see. It's so frustrating not being able to speak to someone. I have a feeling the job will be delayed.

@Neil011

The engineer will be limited with dish placement especially height wise. Skys health & safety policies are very strict in that regard.
