How do I activate HBO Max on my new smart tv?

I have HBO Max free as I have Sky Cinema/TNT Sports 

I have just bought a new smart tv but I cannot activate HBO Max on th tv.

IIRC once activated on your SKY Q box it doesn't automatically set your password so if that is the case, to do that just log into HBOmax on another device using the same email address and you should be prompted to set one

Once you have fully activated and created a password you can then log in to other devices *such as your smart TV) using your email & password

If you have activated the HBO max app on your Sky box, just login in to HBO max app on your smart tv with same login details you used ie email and password you used to activate on your Sky box.
