I have recently been upgraded to SkyQ from an older Sky system. Unfortunately the NOWTV app isn't listed, whereas Youtube, Netflix, etc, are easy to use. I wasn't informed that this would be the case when agreeing to the upgrade.
Are these my choices? 1) upgrade my Sky package at no small expense or 2) cancel Sky altogether and move to Freesat.

If you had an older Sky system then that is Sky+HD which certainly had no apps at all so must have been using your TV apps instead.
Having Sky Q installed does not affect the apps on your TV in any way, have you checked your TV's remote to navigate to them?

In addition to this can I ask why you would subscribe to Now TV if you have SKy ?
Or do really mean an app to connect to your SKy Q box (the app for this is SKy Go)
