Won’t connect on tv. Tried turning off tv & sky doesn’t work tv still says no network connection

HELP

tv says no network connection 

can't access apps on menu

can change xhannels

 watch recordings

all light are on the hub including internet

Hi @Yosamitysam 

Assume this is your main Q box and not a mini.
Try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

@Yosamitysam  Are the wifi bands split?   The hub has a 2.4ghz & 5Ghz band and the box may will not see them when they are combines.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Yosamitysam 

Are you sure that you are pressing the WPS button on the Sky router and not the Reset button?

Following the Network reset you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
You must press the router WPS button within 2 minutes of carrying out the Network reset.

I've turned off everything and removed plugs from the mains and left it alone for 4 hours, I then turned everything back on very slowly and guess what - no change still can't get a network connection
