Please can you fully explain your problem as it is not clear
I fyou are seeing a prompt n the svreen asking you to update the siftware then this is highly likely to be the TV software & not SKY Q and needs your TV's own remote to action it

I got in touch with the team at netflix and thought my sky box they reset Netflix but after that my remote with the blue button will not work, I know it's a different code as they engineer set it up last time

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:
Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times
Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
