Hello
we have moved house and sky broadband activated today. However Sky have send they can't send an engineer to sort the TV until 29/08 which is too long to wait. This will be a month since I booked the house move
The new house has a sky dish and cable coming into the living room.
can I just connect this cable to my Sky Q box or will I break something

You won't break anything, it will either work or not as Sky Q needs a specific LNB (the sticky out bit on the dish) and a shotgun cable (two stuck together).
