Hidden menu

I set a pin so my kids cant access the apps with out putting pin in.

 

But they cleverley have found a way to over ride this.  As they access the hidden menu by going to settings pressing 001 and select button.  Then they go to Reset section and  and do a reset.  This over rides all pins and remove pin requirment and they then access apps like youtube.

 

How can I stop this!!

Other than physically restraining them, you can't.

If they are that savvy, they will use their devices as a remote?

Surley sky needs a more full proof robust parental control.

 

They went on mums phone and chat gpt and found answer.  They only 10 years old.

Q is a decade old and has a few years left as a product: it's not going to change now.

If they have unsupervised access to a smartphone then they can access far worse things than YouTube if they want to...
