My sky Q box is playing up...it was coming up error MR001 but nothing seems to be working when I'm trying to reset it xx

That normally relates to a connection problem iirc. Is this on the main box or a mini box? See the troubleshooting on this link

Its a mini box in the bedroom. The main box in living room is working fine now xx

Try in this order>

  • reboot your router
  • reboot your main Sky Q box
  • reboot your mini box
