Hayu Subscription with Amazon Prime
I am currently paying for Hayu with my Amazon Prime £5.99 per month. When this becomes available with my Sky Subscription for free will it automatically change over and my subsciption with Amazon Prime be cancelled?

hi @aferns
Details are not yet known but I think it is extremely unlikely that it will automatically switch.
Any subscriptions that I have seen introduced have required any subscriptions via third parties to be manually cancelled.

Re: Hayu Subscription with Amazon Prime
Further to @nigea99 's post.
Disney+ was a complete different situation, because it was all inside the Disney+ App on the SkyQ platform, and transferring Disney+ accounts / payments.
Sky's Hayu FAQ states that when the content is made available to Sky customers, it will be in "On Demand", so you won't get a discount on a Hayu App subscription, or be forced to log in to the Hayu App to view it, you'd just download it in the same way all other "On Demand" content. There is no "switch over" happening there.
So I agree nothing will change with the Hayu subscription you're currently paying for at all, it would be up to you to cancel it.
I do not have a sig other than this message. SkyQ.

Re: Hayu Subscription with Amazon Prime
@aferns to add to the above, I presume it's 31 days notice for cancellation (unless it cancels on the billing date?) so you could put it in now.

Your Disney + subscription must have been with Disney + direct to be automatically switched over, other like Hayu subscription via Amazon you would have to manually cancel with your old provider for activating with Sky. The same applies to you present Hayu subscription it will have to be cancelled with Amazon before you activate the Sky subscription. Bear in mind canceling you Amazon prime subscription the cancellation will only take affect at the next billing date of that subscription. If activate the Sky subscription before that date you will have two active subscription for Hayu until that billing date.
Having read the post above that Hayu will on be available on demand on Sky please ignor what I have wrote above.

Therefore unlike the other promotions the free Hayu content will only available on Sky box's unlike the others that could viewed on other devices, and also probably won't give Sky subscribers the full content that is avalable on the Hayu app. Therefore in my opinion this offer is not as good as the others.

Re: Hayu Subscription with Amazon Prime
It is now the 8th of July and they still havent given a start date. Why the secrecy ? This deal would have been sorted months ago at a cost. Surely Sky will know what date it is going live. Stop messing about and tell us.
