This is what I missed out I have not got Sky q I only have the old sky box.

*I think this needs moved to the sky + forum then.
Additionally, you may need to access the engineers menu to 'hard reset' those boxes - from memory years ago.
Settings - press 001 and then you can access that menu to scroll - can't remember off my head - to an area within there to format your hard drive to have it as if new again.
This will remove all recorded programs and will bring your box back to a clean slate.

@Kevin-7248 @janley @Laing1 hi when your in the menu you need to scroll o system reset and your get a notice that your lose recordings ect before you reset and it will want you to confirm your wishing to continue

@loverboi Oh it ain't for me, I just forgot your additional process of accessing the engineer menu's final hard reset guidance to it.
