HELP!

I CANNOT get through to person. Ive had scaffolding up and it blocked the signal, but I could still watch recordings +Sky go, ect, then when the scaffolding went down, it was fine for a week, then I can't get anything at all it. The TV just comes showing High Street shopping channel for some reason. Can't  get anything else on, control doesn't work on it. Turned off and on a few times, nothing.

Sounds like you've been unlucky and a recent 'handshake' between your Sky Q via the satellite link was missed.  Try the following:

 

Settings

System info

Viewing card number

Setup

Viewing card setup

 

This will prompt the system to talk to Sky

I am just another Sky customer!

I can't get anything on the screen at all to click on anything.  It's only showing that shopping channel.  I wondered if it was the dish. Perhaps the rendering men knocked it and tried to put it back, and the next week it was gone! I need an engineer to come out. The lady said that on the phone and gave me a link then and you have to fill more stuff in! It wouldn't let me !!!

The agent should have been able to book an engineer for you when you called.
