HD or UHD

I'm currently paying £9 per month for the HD package. However, I also pay for Sky Q which seems to come with UHD package for free.

Do I need to pay for HD also or should I cancel that?

hi @LauraK1985

There is no SKY Q specific charge - all the costs are for subscriptions to the TV channels & UHD is not free

The box may be UHD capable but to use UHD on SKY channels then you must have both HD and UHD subscriptions

@LauraK1985

The UHD subscription does not cover HD as well.

Sky typically now bundles them as an option when building a Q subscription package

Re: HD or UHD

Thanks for your answers. Apologies for the confusion -  I meant the multi-screen package (with Sky Q) seems to give me UHD.

As you can see from the screen shot below, I have Sky HD and Ultra HD. So, if I cancel the HD, would I still be able to use the Ultra HD?

That was the case with the Entertainment baseline product,  but not for Signature

I think you effectively have the 'Ultra HD + HD' add-on, so that would remove both.

Hi @LauraK1985  - unfortunately there is an error in the pop up information screen that shows if you  click on the multiscreen info button - it still says

Enjoy Sky on a second TV & on 4 devices with Sky Go, plus get UHD on your main box

which as @TimmyBGood says is no longer the case - with Signature you need both HD & UHD add ons

This wording error has been reported but clearly not yet reached those who need to correct it
