Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Really poor show Sky.....not including the 'Standard with Ads' upgrade option.
It's that sort of stuff that really rubs my back up and makes me question staying with Sky. Removing a cheaper upgrade option (available to everyone else) to force Sky customers to buy a more expensive package if they want movie access. It's not a good look.
You would have gotten an extra £1 a month...now you're getting nothing. 🙄

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I did the same as this, but the other way round. Logged into HBOMax with my TNT sports / discovery details and found it only gave me access to that and nothing else. I then activated it through Sky, (as use the same email address for both). I then upgraded my Sky hbo account to be Premium for £10 a month. HBO max says I have 2 active subs. One for TNT sports and one for Premium paid through Sky.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I resolved it by using EE to change the account in the end

I pay for TNT Sport through BT. I have enetered my Discovery Plus log in details in the HBO Max app. This only gives me access to TNT Sport in the app not movies and series. I use the same email address for both Sky and TNT Sport (Discovery Plus). In order to get movies and series should I now activate HBO Max via Sky Q/My Sky app? I don't want to mess things up because I watch a lot more TNT Sport than I do series and movies.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hi,
So do I have to pay £5 a month to watch shows that were free to watch previously?

From what have read on here and in some other posts if your sky and BT log in details are the same activating HBO max via sky Q box or my sky, you will get the free HBO max entertainment.with ads from sky and still have access to to TNT sports from BT on the same login

Friends hasn't been on a Sky owned since about 2000? Channel 4/E4 got the rights until 2011, then it moved to Comedy Central who are still showing it for many hours every day.

Hbo max
When registering for Hbo max now that its in with my Sky subs, the profile entry will not take my DoB using the numbers on my remote.
No good giving me a new service if I can't activate it. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Use the MySky app on your phone or the website itself.

Can't activate HBO
When I tyry and activate HBO Max via SKY Q it won't let me enter my date of birth for my profile, then I am stuck. When I try and do it via web browser I get a Sky message "We can't do that at the moment - We hope to have everything back to normal soon. Please try again later".
Great to get new content at no extra charge, but if you can't sign in....................
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

See post 11 on this thread for the answer but essentially you have to highlight the day of birth box first (use the up/down/left/right buttons if needed) press Select, a keypad then appears to choose the relevant numbers, then repeat the process with the other boxes

ER is now on Netflix. It was previously on 4. Nothing to do with Sky.
