Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Is there the option to upgrade to ad-free?

From the FAQ:

How do I upgrade my plan ?

You can upgrade to a different plan at a discounted price online, or in the TV section of the My Sky app.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Hi, I had/have a TNT sub through EE.

When I opened HBO on Sky today I registered it to my sky account as prompted which uses a different address to that on my TNT account, now I cant seem to restart the process and sign in to HBO using my TNT email address.

Currently I can access TNT but not HBO content, whereas when i used my sky email address it was the opposite.

Any ideas??

If you had  TNT sport on Discovery plus we were told in the pre launch  publicity that to get. It on HBO max all we had to do was put our discovery plus log in details in the new HBO max app. That is not initially.  Correct as we need to activate our HBO  max account first either in my sky app or using the "get"button on the HBO max app on your sky box. Pressing the sign in button and entering discovery plus log in will come up with "no account found"

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I am in the same situation as you in that I have TNT Sports through EE. I want to activate my Sky HBO Max so I can get TV and movies. I spoke to a HBO advisor but she was no help and basically referred me to the standard HELP sections.

I asked if I should use my existing HBO TNT Sports email or do I have to have 2 accounts, one for TNT Sports and one for TV/movies. The help info doesn't cover this scenario.

Sky and HBO are both utterly useless, all they suggest is having to login everytime i want to switch between HBO and TNT. I've spoken to both sides today.

Hi,

I'm trying to claim HBO Max through Sky Q launch page. When it comes to entering date of birth, I can't seem to enter anything. Pressing the numbers on my remote control, it doesn't show onscreen so I can't complete the process.

Any ideas?

If you select the first  box ( the day) of  your date of birth on screen.and click on it You  should be greeted with a couple of row of numbers on  bottom of the screen. Select from these numbers to put your date of birth in the boxes

I also had trouble entering the date of birth, I couldn't get the numbers up to put in, I put in the gender first, then just kept going up and down pressing the remote button and then they eventually appeared

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Can someone with a bit of time please post the quickest & easiest way in a step-by-step guide, to access HBO Max Premium tier via a Sky Q box? I'm sure it would be of great help to a lot of people, including me. Thanks.

That's I am afraid that is correct the logins are for two different company's you can not expect to have  sky offer on a competitor s log in and  vicer  verses.  I presume you have up till now been watching tnt sport though the discovery plus app. If so you not had access to liner  tnt  Channels on sky box , like wise you can not expect access to skys  free HBO max offer on that login. The only way can get it with sky login If you don't want the inconvenience of changing login each time is either change your tnt sport though sky. Though expect that may be more expensive than what you are paying though ee. Or like the post below change your  ee login details to match your sky one or vicer verser

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I activated HBO Max from the MySky app.

Luckily I use the same email address for Sky and HBO Max TNT Sports (previously I had TNT Sports on Discovery+, subscription with EE).

Now on HBO Max I have access to all TV, movies and TNT Sports. I then subscribed to the "no ads" from MySky. I now have one HBO Max login with 2 active subscriptions (Standard billed with Sky and TNT Sports billed with EE)
