HBO Max TNT

Although I am able to access HBO Max via my Sky subscription, I seem unable to access TNT on it, even although it appears as an option. Is TNT only accessible by paying an additional subscription? Thanks for any advice you may be able to provide.

Yes.

HBO Max basic with adverts is included with Sky. TNT Sports, which can also be accessed via HBO Max, is an additional subscription that can be bought through Sky, direct or via a third party.

HBO Max basic with adverts is included with Sky. TNT Sports, which can also be accessed via HBO Max, is an additional subscription that can be bought through Sky, direct or via a third party.

Actuly the  HBO max TNT sports subscription is not available though Sky. The only  way you can get access to to the TNT sports content in HBOmax though Sky is to have a TNT sports subscription added to your Sky TV package at £34 a month extra This will not only give you access to to HBO TNT sport content in the app but also to the 4 linner channels on your Sky box. If you chose that option you could  view the HBO max TNT sport content in the app using the same login that use for HBO  max entertainment. The only other way to get HBO Max TNT sport content in the app is to subcribe direct with HBO max on there web site. This costs about £32 month and involves a  different account and login and payment directly  to HBO max. If you chose that if you chose that option you would have to  login and out to watch sport or entertainment as I beleave you you can not have same login details if you have this option.

Which is exactly what I just said @DaveDrizen?

And yes, you can buy access to TNT Sports elsewhere and link your HBO Max account through Sky with your TNT Sports subscription. I pay EE for TNT Sports and have HBO Max included with Sky.

if you pay hbo max separately for tnt sport only and want the free sky hbo basic with ads on the same hbo login as the sport all you need to do is make sure the email address is the same on both the hbo and Sky accounts

No you can't I have just been on the HBO web site and tried subscribing to somthing that I don't have though Sky, I pressed the sign up button( not the log in button)  and it asks for your email, so I put in the one I use for access to access the HBO max app though Sky. However when I do that it reconizes that I already have a HBO max account ( even though it though Sky) and take me to login screen. So I thought I would login and see what happens, so I did and then it takes me to screen to allow me to subscribe to various pachages. I already have TNT sport's so I chose somthing I did not have like the premium tier so I did and I then get a screen telling me I can't do that on there. Had I not had TNT spoerts already and clicked on that I think I would of got the same message. Therefore if you want access to TNT sport on the HBO max app only you can only get that with a different login to what use on Sky. Yes you can use the same login you use on Sky if you subscribe to TNT sports though likes on of ee or bt but like though Sky have to subscribe to the TNT sports package including the linner channels you can not  get just access to HBO max tnt sport app content it own, (unless may be you have mobile phone contact  with them as I some of there packge has TNT sports as a extra) ,that is only available on HBO max web site.

Just a reminder that the answer to the original question hasn't changed and it is still "Yes". 🤣

@DaveDrizen Just to be 100% clear, if you activate the included HBO Max Basic with Ads from Sky, you then can upgrade to HBO Max Standard or Premium via Sky, which is solely focused on Movies & Entertainment.

If you wish, you can buy a TNT Sports subscription via Sky, getting you access to TNT Sports in the TV Guide and via HBO Max. 

Many customers will use the included HBO Max offering via Sky but may also already have a TNT Sports subscription either direct, or with a third party such as EE (my case).

Both Sky and EE have a way to link the two accounts into one login with help from HBO behind the scenes, so you can have HBO Max via Sky and TNT Sports via say BT or EE and use both in the HBO Max app at the same time. 

EE are very open about this process, you just need to email them (example below):
